Peer mediation is a structured process where one or two trained, neutral, and impartial peers help facilitate dialogue between parties in conflict and assists them in negotiating a resolution.
The process is voluntary, and the disputants control the outcome of their agreement at all times. It is known to maximize the chances of generating creative and mutually acceptable solutions.
Peer mediation encourages mutual understanding and respective, good relationships, and peaceful resolutions of conflicts.
R3SOLUTE’s peer mediation programs aim to reduce violent or contentious behaviors, while increasing self-confidence and situational control, of participants and those around them.
