R3SOLUTE created this Privacy Notice to express our respect for your privacy preferences and to disclose how we collect information, what we use the information for and what kind of sharing practices we perform. Further more, to inform you around any questions or complains you may have concerning your privacy on our site.

The Personal Information We Collect:
R3SOLUTE does not collect any personal data, unless the user agrees to it under careful remarks and reminders made out by our team. Only time in which we ask of your personal data is if you wish to contact us directly, through the “Contact us” page, or if you personally wish to sign up for our newsletter.
In regards to the two points mentioned, we might collect your:

Newsletter
MAILCHIMP
This website uses the services of MailChimp to send newsletters. This service is provided by Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. MailChimp is a service which organizes and analyzes the distribution of newsletters. If you provide data (e.g. your email address) to subscribe to our newsletter, it will be stored on MailChimp servers in the USA.
MailChimp is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. The Privacy Shield is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the US to ensure compliance with European privacy standards in the United States. We use MailChimp to analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent by MailChimp, a file included in the email (called a web beacon) connects to MailChimp’s servers in the United States.
This allows us to determine if a newsletter message has been opened and which links you click on. In addition, technical information is collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type, and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to a specific recipient. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of our newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better tailor
future newsletters to your interests. If you do not want your usage of the newsletter to be analyzed by MailChimp, you will have to unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a link in every newsletter we send. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website Data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO. You may revoke your consent at any time by unsubscribing to the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally
processed. The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you

Completion of a data processing agreement We have entered into a data processing agreement with MailChimp, in which we require MailChimp to protect the data of our customers and not to disclose said data to third parties. Reasons for collecting personal data
We use and disclose client personal information only for the purpose for which the information was collected, except as authorized by law. For example, we may use our site’s visitors’ contact information

Personal employee or volunteer information
Personal employee information is personal information about an employee or volunteer which is collected, used or disclosed solely for the purposes of establishing, managing or terminating an employment relationship or a volunteer work relationship. Personal employee information may, in some circumstances, include a Social Insurance Number, a performance review, etc.
We can collect, use and disclose your personal employee information without your consent only for the purposes of establishing, managing or ending the employment or volunteer relationship. We will provide current employees and volunteers with prior notice about what information we collect, use or disclose and our purpose for doing so.
What personal employee information do we collect, use and disclose?
We collect, use and disclose personal employee information to meet the following purposes:
Determining eligibility for employment or volunteer work, including verifying qualifications and
references. Establishing training and development requirements. Assessing performance and managing performance issues if they arise. Complying with applicable laws.
We only collect, use and disclose the amount and type of personal employee information that is reasonable to meet the above purposes. The following is a list of personal employee information that we may collect, use and disclose to meet those purposes.
Contact information such as your name, home address, telephone number.
Volunteer information such as your resume (including educational background, work history and references), reference information and interview notes, letters of offer and acceptance of employment, policy acknowledgement forms, background verification information, workplace performance evaluations, emergency contacts, etc. Other personal information required for the purposes of our employment or volunteer relationship. We will inform our employees and volunteers of any new purpose for which we will collect, use, or disclose personal employee information, or we will obtain your consent, before or at the time the information is collected. We will obtain your consent to collect, use and disclose your personal information for purposes unrelated to the employment or volunteer relationship (e.g. such as providing you with information about our workplace’s partners programs or events of similar nature).
What information do we provide for volunteer references?
In some cases, after your employment or volunteer relationship with us ends, we will be contacted by other organizations and asked to provide a reference for you. It is our policy not to disclose personal information about our employees and volunteers to other organizations who request references without consent.
The personal information we normally provide in a reference includes:
- Confirmation that an individual was an employee or volunteer, including the position, and date range of the employment or volunteering.
- General information about an individual’s job duties and information about the employee or volunteer’s ability to perform job duties and success in the employment or volunteer relationship.
Who receives this information?
We use a thirdparty candidate Vostel to recruite our volunteers. The data processed on the site vostel is
under the website’s operator. This service is provided by vostel volunteering UG (haftungsbeschränkt) Karl-Marx-Platz 12 12043 Berlin.
Vostel is a site that provides a platform for non profit organizations to post their volunteering opportunities, and for people who wish to volunteer to find these. If you provide data (e.g. your email address) to apply to one of our open volunteering positions, it will be stored on Vostel.de servers in Berlin. We use this platform to announce and create new volunteering positions. And to more easily provide a volunteering opportunity for people. If you do not want your usage of the personal data to be analyzed by Vostel, you will have to contact us personally in case you still wish to volunteer with R3SOLUTE on any of the contact information listed
below.
How do we safeguard personal information?
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that personal information is accurate and complete. We rely on individuals to notify us if there is a change to their personal information that may affect their relationship with our organization. If you are aware of an error in our information about you, please let us know and we will correct it on request wherever possible. In some cases we may ask for a written request for correction. We protect personal information in a manner appropriate for the sensitivity of the information. We make every reasonable effort to prevent any
loss, misuse, disclosure or modification of personal information, as well as any unauthorized access to personal information. We use appropriate security measures when destroying personal information, including shredding paper
records and permanently deleting electronic records. We retain personal information only as long as is reasonable to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected or for legal or business purposes.
Access to records containing personal information
Individuals have a right to access their own personal information in a record that is in the custody or under the control of R3SOLUTE, subject to some exceptions. For example, organizations are required under the Personal Information Protection Act to refuse to provide access to information that would
reveal personal information about another individual.
If we refuse a request in whole or in part, we will provide the reasons for the refusal. In some cases where exceptions to access apply, we may withhold that information and provide you with the remainder of the

You may also request information about our use of your personal information and any disclosure of that information to persons outside our organization. In addition, you may request a correction of an error or comission in your personal information.
We will respond to your request as soon as possible, unless an extension is granted.
