This weekend we launched an info session and booth on mediation and its benefits in Marienfelde during their annual summer celebration. R3SOLUTE gathered together with many other social initiatives and inhabitants.
We had the opportunity to represent R3SOLUTE together with our 15 new peer-mediators, who recently completed our conflict competency and peer-mediation workshops that where conducted in cooperation with International Federation Berlin-Brandenburg gGmbH. It has been incredibly rewarding to see many of the newly trained peer mediators solving disputes within the community already two weeks after completing the training. The peer-mediators will now be serving the community as peacemakers for community members to get support if they are in conflict.
Moreover, R3SOLUTE conducted questionnaires to assess the types of conflict that occur in this shelter, in order to improve the peer mediators’ work.
Many more people signed up to participate in future workshops. We could not be more excited about this development! Thank you all for your support!
